In 2012, while studying in the Netherlands, I had the opportunity to undertake a research project on social issues within the ‘urban environment.
This turned out to be a highly rewarding team project, where a cross-fertilisation of inter-disciplinary ideas panned out. We had team members from disciplines covering political science, psychology as well as social anthropology. Furthermore we were a multi-national team. This all meant for a diverse collection of ideas; a great learning environment!
